PlayBoston: The SIGGRAPH Solution |

Some of the video clues were incredibly simple, and just involved patiently waiting for a booth number to appear. |
Others involved recognizing a logo, such as this close-up from UMass Dartmouth. |
Sometimes the logos were set into motion so they'd only be recognizable for a moment, such as this one for Addison-Wesley. |
Still others made allusions to featured products at SIGGRAPH, such as "Cosmic Blobs". |
Some required clever observation, such as this one, which made reference to "The Setup Machine" (TSM), and which very briefly flashed each of the numbers 5, 3, and 0 on the screen one after another (they've been composited here to show the solution), which was the booth number of this product's producer. |
And of course, we couldn't help but do a few visual puns. This one was for "SeeFile Software". |
This one was for "Mercury Systems". |
| |
| In addition, we asked each booth to put up a "PlayBoston" sticker somewhere so that observant folks could stumble upon the clues. Some were more devious than others, as can be seen here... |
