For this information architecture project, we had to devise graphically understandable instructions for a simple process without employing any numbers or letterforms. Since many first year photography students seem to struggle with loading film onto a spool for processing, I decided to address this problem. My final design was intended to be printed in a dark green on a opaque black background, mounted on a dim lightbox so that the images would glow a safe-green that could be visible in a blackroom.
