Sometimes, if you love something, you have to set it free. Or, in some cases, you have to let them run off to California or France to pursue dreams of artistic superstardom, and just hope that they'll remember you when they make it big... or that they'll come crawling back when you make it big first... CRAWL, I tells ya!
No, seriously, this page is dedicated to the fine folks who have worked for Metaversal Studios, often for little-to-no pay, whose contributions we wish to remember. Plus, their bios are so darned funny that we thought it'd be a shame to delete 'em. |

Margaret Bright-Ryan, Illustrator
Margaret Bright-Ryan is an award winning photographer and a published illustrator. Some of her visual effects work (2D and 3D) appeared on television in 2004. She drinks coffee and Guinness, and sometimes picks things
up off the ground and eats them. She has memorized Pi to
over 100 digits, and is generally thought to be crazy.
[Where is she now? Tired of being the "only girl" at Metaversal, Meg moved to being the "only girl" on the alumni page. She's now in Los Angeles working on being an award-winning animator. And she's still crazy. But we love that about her.]

Gabe Connolly, Director of Creative Services
Gabe Connolly was born and raised in Baltimore, MD, where his primary upbringing was seen to by the shiny chrome of a diner, and a particularly caring slice of lemon merengue pie with a little face carved out of the top.
A graduate of the Animation and Multimedia dual major at Northeastern University in Boston, Gabe has worked on almost every single Metaversal project since the company was founded, and he hasn't yet run out of ideas on how to make things more fun.
[Where is he now? Gabe still hasn't run out of ideas, but he ran out on us... screaming something about us licking his merengue? Seriously, though, we miss Gabe a lot, but we're happy that he made a good career move.] |

Henry Foster, Animator, Programmer & Game Designer
Henry Foster was raised by a duck-billed platypus until the ripe age of 16, when he discovered that platypuses are delicious. After spending several years trying to integrate into human society by flailing his arms in circles and kicking dirt in people's eyes, he decided instead to go into computer animation and programming.
Henry was the head Flash and Maya wrangler at Metaversal Studios, which is enough to drive anyone insane, but fortunately Henry learned the calming art of juggling and thus didn't kill anyone in his tenure here. That we know of.
Metaversal Projects:Pretty much everything we worked on, but most notably ZombieDrop, now featured on Shockwave.com.
[Where is he now? Henry is in Los Angeles, still flailing arms and kicking dirt, but somehow managing to put in lon hours doing crazy Maya wrangling at the same time.] |

John Guiney , Illustrator
John Guiney, or Guiney as he is known to those close to him, is the Renaissance man of the crew. Animator, Sculptor, Video Artist, Clothing Designer, and most recently Illustrator, there is nothing this king among men can't do. In his student days, John could be found huddled over a beaten and battered G4 Powerbook in the deep recesses of a computer lab; now he lounges on the swanky Metaversal Couch with his sleek and sexy new laptop.
John has studied in Florence, Italy at the Studio Arts Center International; he is a graduate of Northeastern University in Multimedia Studies and Graphic Design with a minor in Animation.
[Where is he now? Guiney is now working in golf research. No really, that's not a euphemism for retirement. Now he's our client instead of serving out clients!] |

Richard Hoglund, Illustrator
Richard "Ric" Hoglund, rogue designer, is best known for being intensely rogue. This artist's rendition is the only known image of the mystery geek, last seen sailing a junk down the Rhon, reportedly feeling somewhat out of place.
Even when R.H. isn't being mysterious, he still lives a life of international intrigue, living and working in Boston, Paris, and Prague. He has studied at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, Ecole Superieure des Arts Decoratifs in Strasbourg, and Univerzita Karlova in Prague.
Far less information can be found about him at his personal web site.
[Where is he now? Ric is still somewhere abroad. Or he's become a broad. Or something. He's so mysterious we're never sure.] |

Mike Killoren, Art Director, Illustrator
Mike originally manifested in the demon world of Woburn , granting wishes to those who have been wronged. Eventually Mike sought something more. After breaking ties with the vengeance world and becoming entangled in the mortal coil, Mike moved to the dimension of Boston where he sought a degree at Northeastern University by entering the dual major of Multimedia and Animation.
Occasionally Mike uses his demonic powers for “client management,” which often lands him in project manager positions. One day he will eventually break into a hellish dimension known as “The Industry,” a life draining world that feeds off the energies of creative artists and the bones of little children.
[Where is he now? Mike sucessfully broke into "The Industry" and reports that the bones of little children are surprisingly tasty] |

Jens Lindgren, Webmaster, Animator & Game Designer
Jens "it's pronounced Yens" Lindgren is rumored to have emerged from a forest somewhere in Southeastern Vermont. After developing an appreciation for real maple syrup and pickled herring (separately, of course), Jens investigated the inner workings of cityfolk and indecisively meandered until arriving in 21st-century Boston. Jens has graduated from Northeastern University as an Animation and Multimedia Studies dual major with a minor in Graphic Design and is currently stirring up trouble somewhere in California.
[Where is he now?Still in California, letting his faux-hawk run wild.] |

Zachere Mangan, 3D Artist
Zachere "The Minister of Fun" Mangan is the sole reason for many people's continued exsistence. Despite his upbringing on the mean streets of suburban New Jersey, Zach is fairly literate and has only the beginnings of a gnarly mullet. At a fairly young age Zach chose 3D animation as the career most suited to his pleasant disposition and socially active lifestyle, all while wearing a gold chain and driving an I-ROC.
Zach is a a graduate of Northeastern University's 6 year plan of Animation. He has worked at such awesome companies as Video Communication Services and Maddoc Software on various projects. Since joining the workforce he has managed to represent Hip Hop by buying Abercrombie, kicking puppies and writing a blog. However, no puppies are harmed in the production of any of Metaversal's products.
[Where is he now?We lost track of him. We hope he wasn't arrested for kicking any puppies. Or for blogging.]
